Insight on Seeking God's Will



This is a great statement on the preparation for doing God's will! So often When "Life" throws us a change-up, we stumble and begin swinging amiss at that God's will is. This quote from George Muller is a great reminder that God's plan for our lives. It can be broken into this simple outline:

1. Submit - to God's plan, not mine
2. Search - the Scriptures
3. Observe - Providential circumstances in my life
4. Ask - God for wisdom in discernment of His will

Proverbs 3:5-6 Explains it this way...

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; (Not my will but HIS will) and lean not unto thine own understanding. (The heart is deceitful and therefore not trustworthy outside of the Holy Spirits influence) In all thy ways acknowledge him (Listen to Him through His Word, talk to His in prayer, live a life now that reflects Him), and he shall direct thy paths.(the end and timing is His)
